Trial and Error
Bending the rubber like a floor squeegee didn't work; instead, we had to stretch the ends vertically to form the KataCurv's curves.
Ensuring the right curve while keeping the rubber flexible was crucial for its contouring ability.
The straight rubber becomes curved when slid into the KataCurv, transforming it into a curved squeegee.
The replaceable rubber is widely available at hardware stores and is what window cleaners use. It's the best at moving water.
4 Step Journey
1. Tutorials made it possible to learn 3D modeling (drawing the design from scratch) with the Shapr3D app.
2. Followed by more tutorials and countless prototypes using the QIDI 3D printer right at home.
3. Then we secured a manufacturer for injection molding the final product.
4. Meanwhile we had already started the patent process with Bold IP patent attorneys and were finally granted a patent for our innovative design.

Wipes the windshield every time without a streak. I use a kitchen scrub pad to scrub off the bug spats most of the time with just water, occasionally with Invisible Glass if there is some "greasy" film on the glass. I haven't yet found a good way to hang the KataCurv from my garage tool board, so that might be a suggestion.
Curved or flat it doesn't matter; it leaves the glass clean.

I thought I was just going to be using it for my windshield- which mind you the cleaning system with the dish soap and squeegee lasted far longer than the glass cleaner I normally use.
But more than that, I get a lot of morning condensation on my windows and instead of wiping it with my sleeve or rolling my windows down which makes the water end up drying on my windows, I now have the squeegee which makes the water SO easy to wipe away.
